Drag and Drop

We just finished our 2nd semester parent teacher conferences.  What a whirlwind week and "Drag and Drop" usually describes me to a tee after the chaos has settled.  I've been so excited this week with the station rotations in my classroom that conferences went by so quickly.  I love having the opportunity to talk with the parent and students about our learning and coming up with ways to help them continue to be successful.  Typically, our Friday off becomes a recovery day for me, but not this year.  I was up and ready to focus on some new things.

In science we are learning about classification and the 5 kingdoms of living things.  I found some great stuff on TPT that I could use in my stations, but I still needed basic review ideas to help the students practice all the characteristics of each kingdom.  We have done FlipQuizMe, Kaboom (a popsicle stick game), and now I was left with a traditional worksheet.  I wasn't excited about that so I converted it into a drag and drop using Google Slides.  It was super easy to create and although it is still a worksheet, it's digital.  I can see this having a lot of variations and being useful in many ways.  I am sharing a quick video to help you see what it can do and a link to get your own copy.  Happy teaching!!
